What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead Hand/ Foreman/ Landscaper, you’ll oversee daily on-site operations, lead a small
team, and ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You’ll work on a variety of projects including:
- Patios, walkways, and driveways
- Retaining walls and woodwork
- Sod, planting, and grading
- Decks and gardens
We’re Looking for Someone Who Can
- Read and interpret blueprints and project grades
- Lead a team of 2–4 landscapers with clear communication and direction
- Maintain organized, safe, and clean worksites
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and power tools proficiently
- Solve problems on the fly and complete tasks efficiently
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years landscaping experience, including team leadership
- Eye for detail and a strong work ethic
- Valid G driver’s license with clean abstract
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis, shovel gravel, lay sod/pavers
- Reliable transportation to/ from our Grassie shop
- Proficient with skid steer and mini excavator
- Able to instruct and mentor others on proper techniques and safety

Work Schedule & Conditions
- All weather – Arrive at Grassie shop daily at 6:55 AM
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Some Saturdays or extended hours until 6:00 PM when needed
- Safety footwear required
